We are discontinuing support for loyalty and gift chip cards at the end of July 2019.

Why Are We Discontinuing Support For Chip Cards?

The hardware terminals that we use to run your chip cards are now end of life from the manufacturer and no longer available to purchase. We still have limited stock and they will be available to purchase until 28th February 2019. We highly encourage you to migrate to our newer gift and loyalty solution as soon as possible and we are offering a discount on all migrated chip card customers until 31st May 2019.

Key Dates:

28th February 2019 – Last orders for chip card terminals

31st May 2019 – End of discount upgrade offer

1st August 2019 – Chip card terminals will no longer synchronise to the back office

Migration Path To New Reward-It Loyalty & Gift System

Choose your new terminal type – mobile Scan’r app on wifi tablet or smart phone, or Web Terminal on PC
Contact us for pricing and ordering new loyalty and gift cards.
Replace customer cards when a customer come to your store. Your current chip card terminal will still be able to read card balances and transferring the points or values will only take a few moments in the back office.

What Happens If I Don’t Upgrade?

Your terminals will still be able to synchronise to the back office up until the 31st July 2019. After that date, your terminals will not be able to connect to our back office systems. You can still use your terminals to perform transactions but the data won’t synchronise and there will be no audit trail. If your terminal breaks, there won’t be any way to read the card balances.
