What Is A Terminal?
Reward It has 2 types of terminal.
- Web Terminal Licence – A webpage application that can be used on a Microsoft Windows PCs, Apple Macs or Linux computers, typically linked to a handheld barcode or QR code scanner on an internet enabled ePOS.
- Merchant Scan’r App Licence – can be used on Android devices and iPhone/iPad’s and uses the devices camera to scan customers loyalty and gift cards.
Can I use the same terminal licence on multiple devices?
Yes, each terminal licence allows 3 logins on the same type of device (web terminal or App) but please note that all 3 logins will be reported back as 1 location. You may want an additional terminal licences if you want to report from multiple locations, i.e. In a hotel you may want to report separately by reception, bar and restaurant.
What are points schemes?
Points schemes are the rules that are used to control your loyalty scheme. For example £1 equals 1 point or £1 equals 100 points. You may decide to have an additional points scheme for a promotion on for example Tuesday lunch times for double points.
